Hey,Im new to marine aquarium (i have fresh water aquariums)I have a 10 gallon tank and wish to turn it into a marine tank with some inverts (turbo snails,shrimps) or maybe a mantis shrimp!I have a 10w light tube and add a kilogram of live rock.What do i need to start?and what are the maintenance costs?Salt etc etc?Are ther any corals.starpolyps that would do well with that ammount of light?

i have a 2 year old and 8 month old so i realy dont have time to sit at the computer for an hour at home thats why i was hoping for something i could get in the mail and read on the couch while i watch the kids

There’s a t5 lighting system available on ebay for about 30 dollars. I have a 20 gallon aquarium im looking to turn into a reef aquarium. Its a 20 high which is 24 in wide and the lighting system is only 14 inches long. The system comes with 3x 8 watt t5 lights one of which is a actinic blue light. Will this be sufficient lighting for corals and anemones or is it not good enough for them. If you could tell me what the lumens and kelvin of a t5 8 watt bulb is that would be great. Also what is the minimum lumens and kelvin is need for a 20 gallon tall tank. And don’t worry im doing a lot of research before starting this tank that’s why im asking….
